TenHands Announces Open BETA for its Groundbreaking HD Video Desktop Service; Free, Easy Real-Time Video Collaboration for Business Surpasses Current Offerings

Tuesday, August 28th, 2012

Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2012

TenHands, Inc., the innovative service provider that delivers free, easy video collaboration for business, announces the open BETA release of its revolutionary desktop video service built for the business market. TenHands groundbreaking offer is the first to deliver real-time video as a true virtualized cloud-computing solution using Amazon’s Elastic Computing Cloud, HTLM5 and WebRTC. TenHands announced its invite-only, closed beta on April 23rd and quickly accumulated users from more than 1,000 companies around the world. Anyone can now sign-up and immediately get TenHands service and experience HD video from their PC or Mac computers with one-to-one or multiparty group video – all for free.

“In the race to enable real-time video in the browser, we believe we are a year ahead of Skype, WebEx, HDFaces and other providers,” commented Mark Weidick, Co-Founder and CEO of TenHands. Microsoft recently announced plans to overhaul their architecture in support of WebRTC standards an action sure to accelerate the movement that Google initiated over a year ago. “WebRTC is the catalyst to revolutionize the way we use our browsers to communicate. In the same way the browser revolutionized the way we access information 15 years ago, WebRTC will quickly enable the browser to become a primary mode of video and audio communication,” he added.

TenHands’ client software is currently a browser plug-in (no Flash) that’s based on the WebRTC open source project. TenHands extended WebRTC to deliver HD video in Chrome, IE, Safari and Firefox on both Mac and Windows; iPads, iPhones, Android devices and smart phones are next. The result is a 2Mbyte free plug-in that is remarkably easy to integrate with other web-based applications. As Google, Mozilla and other browser makers add real-time video and audio capability to the browser, TenHands is positioned to offer a “no software required” delivery model.

“Imagine being able to instantly make a free, HD video call from any device to any other device in the world through a browser, and without the need of any hardware or software to download. That is when you turn interoperability on its head and truly democratize the video experience for all,” explains Jack Blaeser, Co-Founder and CCO of TenHands. “We are in the midst of this transformational movement that is sure to disrupt the existing market but promises great benefits for businesses and end users.

TenHands is also enabling its breakthrough solution through integration with other collaboration applications such as Box, Join.Me and Dropbox, among others.

TenHands encourages businesses to try their free video conferencing service by signing up at: http://www.tenhands.net. Problem by : Will the Present Sale on iPads Final?
I’m arranging on purchasing a refurbished iPad (Initial Gen) on apple.com. It’s official that I am not finding an iPad two. As I was seeking these days to decide what I desired, I seen the prices went down drastically, obviously for black friday. I desired to know: Will the latest rates ( http://store.apple.com/us/solution/FC497LL/A ) very last? Is it only for nowadays (Black Friday), or the weekend? Will they final until finally Christmas? I want to know because I am certain of this, but my mother (Who will be the one acctually getting it, as I am 14) is even now making an attempt to think about it. I’m anxious the special uber reduced prices (Or atleast, for Apple merchandise, they’re good but, exspensive) will end, and I will have to settle for the 16GB version. And rely on me, I can consume up memory Quickly. So remember to, if everyone is aware of, notify me how extended they will very last. I am attempting to convice my mother to acquire it now, and then just give it to me on Christmas day, but I don’t want to risk passing up this sort of a wonderful offer. Thank you!
Just to recap: How long will it last?
Midnight on Black Friday? The stop of the weekend after black friday (Until finally Mon. twenty eighth) or till the end of the Xmas purchasing season?

A handful of nice ipad books photographs I located:

Current Set up
ipad books

This is my modern set up optimized for undertaking my investigation. I generally use OS X, but I also operate Windows for embedded system programming and Linux for working Simics VM. All of them are virtualized in VMWare Fusion.

In the photo, there are 4 screens but are truly only two Macs on the 72-inch extensive desk. I found this setting to be valuable since it’s portable and the load can be balanced amongst the two. There are several other computers in my area for server and simulation applications.

All the computers are synchronized using Unison, and managed by a single set of keyboard and mouse employing Synergy. I modified the supply code of Synergy so that it supports Magic Mouse perfectly (the unique edition utilizes some deprecated APIs which does not assistance pixel-centered scrolling).

Thanks to the GoodReader application on iPad, I can go through all the guides and papers even when I am on the go. I want to cover the irritating iPad’s white USB cable, but the iPad’s energy problem can make the dilemma a bit hard to remedy.

Is there a way to get current books on the iPad without iTunes or having to buy them?

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

Query by Alyna: Is there a way to get present textbooks on the iPad with no iTunes or obtaining to obtain them?
I don’t want to pay 12 dollars for a book I will read when. The library has a book checkout like normal library guides but they are DRM protected. I know calibre can transform to pub but I don’t know a system to get rid of drm. Is there an additional internet site to get existing publications totally free easily. Or at minimum a virus totally free drm remover?

Is there any large review of all current iPad (Capacitive) stylus (styli) available?

Wednesday, July 6th, 2011

Question by Jamie M: Is there any large review of all current iPad (Capacitive) stylus (styli) available?
I am looking for a legitimate review of every stylus available for capacitive screens. I really would prefer that it is a newer review (1 month old, maybe 2). I am fairly certain that I have found every stylus that exists for the iPad, but you never know what’s hiding on the internet. Thus, few stray from a single design type, and those that do are odd, but not in a way that increases accuracy or functionality. None that I have found have really thrilled me and I have tested a number myself (boxwave, pogo etc.). I appreciate any info you have on the topic. Thanks in advance!
